Dr. Arne Röhl, from 1996 to 1999 PhD researcher at the Mathematical Seminar,
University of Hamburg, Germany.
Arne Röhl, born 1969, studied mathematics at the University of Hamburg and wrote his PhD thesis on phylogenetic network analysis of DNA under
supervision of
Prof. H.-J. Bandelt, (Hamburg) and
Prof. B. Brinkmann (University of Münster) in 1999.
Arne Röhl's shareware NETW20x.EXE for DOS formed the basis for the Windows versions NETW4x.EXE and NETW5x.EXE which were developed under the auspices of Fluxus Technology Ltd.
Both versions are available for free on this website. Arne was also founder and director of
Genetic Ancestor Ltd.
